Top Echelon hosts two conventions a year, spring and fall. These conventions are available to their Network Members comprised of recruiters from across the country. Over the past few conventions I have developed a new look for each and expanded their branding colors for the events. This convention I went on the more playful side choosing bright bold colors paired along with a font with a lot of character.
For this project I wanted to create something unique as a give away. I love laughing and making puns, even if they are bad, to try to make someone smile. I have also found that a great way to brighten someones day is to send them a card.
These cards are all some sort of literal interpretation of a pun. The simplicity of them make them applicable in various situations. The illustrations are all custom along with the box design; that when all the cards are taken out of, it reveals my contact email. Each box held half of the overall card designs in the series, so recipients got a mixture to give out.

This site uses a single page layout, with the exception of their Jobs pages. It starts out with a dynamic image to draw the viewer in and then presents a light and clean look throughout the rest of the design. The site features lightly colored but bold font for their headers, along with images grouped along the sides presenting different industries they also do business in.
Brand identity for Grace Kids ministry. I created a color scheme, logo, and logomark. The church’s branding uses a contemporary dove so I wanted to create a kid’s version with a baby dove and also add a playful aspect with the hand drawn type for “kids”.

This site wanted a classical look along with a modern feel. The images chosen are bright and had a warm feel to them. The angles used throughout the site along with the hidden slide in, side navigation, give it a unique feel that sets them apart.
This project included an activity book and invitations that featured hand lettering and custom illustration. The invitations have the couples’ names prominently hand lettered surrounded by a floral motif. The activity book was a unique problem to solve, trying to figure out the best way to have enough space for each activity but not be to big or not cost-effective to produce. These books came out of the couples’ desire to share something special with their guests. They created different activities and mini-games that I paired with a full coloring sheet on the inside. The front of the book also had an illustration of the couple.

This company wanted an airy and inviting design. For this I chose bright images and used hand lettering throughout to welcome the viewers.The color scheme was expanded out from just the colors found in their logo to also include a warmer orange and shades of green.
Every year Top Echelon conducts a survey among it’s network of recruiters. After they collect all the data they comb through it and publish a report with past year statistics and future predictions. This year I had the creative liberty to come up with custom illustrations to go along with some of the unique pictorial phrases they used. I also took the overall look in a more modern graphic direction staying away from images and using the orange and bright blue colors.

For this customer I created custom illustrations of aspects of recruiting for the packaging industry, along with hand lettering to bring a friendly and welcoming aspect. The circles in their logo lent themselves to be an additional design element to repeat throughout the site for a more cohesive look and to further their branding.
